Renew and strengthen the investigative mandate on Sudan

Ask the Human Rights Council to renew the mandate and give it what it needs: a preservation role, sustained funding and witness protection.

A mandate that can report but not preserve leaves evidence to decay. A mandate renewed annually cannot plan. A mandate without protection provisions asks witnesses to take a risk it cannot mitigate.
