Do no harm
No piece of documentation, no publication and no campaign is worth exposing a source. Where the safe choice and the powerful one differ, we take the safe one.
Informed consent
Nobody's account is published without their documented, informed and revocable consent — and consent to speak to us is not consent to be named.
Independence
We take no funding that constrains what we may document or say.
Accuracy over speed
A claim we cannot substantiate is a claim we do not make. Being first is worth nothing; being right is the whole asset.
